Hey, Posse! What’s up? It’s Alex. This is PART 2 of my 2-part series on AI shortcuts that you need to know to save you hours, make faster decisions, and totally level up your productivity.
We already covered 8 in Part 1… now if you haven’t read Part 1 yet… trust me, you do NOT want to miss it. It has 8 shortcuts to help you with everything from creating complex Excel formulas…
Analyzing and replicating your top performing social posts….
Creating custom examples for your frameworks and formulas…
AND SO MUCH MORE.
And now let’s kick off Part 2 right where we left off…
Shortcut #9: Evaluate Tools & Platforms
How many times have you spent HOURS, WEEKS or even MONTHS evaluating software tools or platforms trying to decide which one is best for your specific needs?
Whether it’s email automation, CRM integration, or payment processing.
Use ChatGPT to help you filter out the best options…
- Describe What You’re Looking For:
- “Can you recommend some different digital tools for mapping out marketing funnels visually?” ChatGPT will give you a bunch of options, in this case, it even divides them into simple, mid-level and pro options…
- I recommend you continue to feed prompts into ChatGPT with more detail on what you’re looking for…
- Like “Which of these tools integrates with airtable?”
- Or “I’d love to be able to incorporate conversion rates and have some analytical power with the funnel mapping tool as well. Which would you recommend?”
You can even ask for pricing comparisons, which one is best for the number of people on your team, and literally ANYTHING else that you specifically want this tool to be able to do.
Next up is an absolute lifesaver for project managers, freelancers, or anyone juggling big tasks…
Shortcut #10: Break Large Projects Into Smaller Tasks
You’ve got a large project or a series of deliverables, and you’re feeling overwhelmed by the sheer scope of it all…
ChatGPT can help you break it down into smaller, actionable steps…
- Describe Your Project or Goal Clearly
- The more specific you are, the better. Think about what needs to get done and by when…
- “I need to launch an online course in the next 3 months. It’s going to include 5 modules, a website, a marketing campaign, and a customer support system. Can you help break this project into weekly milestones with specific tasks for each week? I’m working with a small team of 3 people – a copywriter, a social media manager, and a VA.”
- ChatGPT’s Response:
- It will provide weekly or daily milestones with detailed steps…
- You can ask it to go even further by creating daily tasks for the first month…
- ChatGPT will then give you even more granular action items.
- Or have it generate an Airtable template for you!
- Once you have a breakdown, make sure to save this ChatGPT chat so you can return to it and refine or adjust the timeline if unexpected delays happen.
Shortcut #11: Find Relevant Examples for Inspiration
This is a great shortcut for finding INSPIRATION for landing pages, lead magnets and sales pages.
Rather than browsing aimlessly online for hours and hoping you stumble across a good one…
Ask ChatGPT what’s working right now in your industry so you can reverse-engineer one for yourself. For example, if you’re looking for landing page inspiration…
- In A New Chat, Describe the Type of Landing Page You Need
- Remember – the more specific, the better. Who is it for? What’s the offer?
- “Give me 5 examples of top-performing landing pages for digital product launches. Include a breakdown of why they work—messaging, layout, call to action, and visuals.”
- ChatGPT’s Response:
- You’ll get page breakdowns and why they’re effective to help you when writing your own copy.
- Or if you’ve already written copy for your page, you can ask ChatGPT to reformat it – using the same structure as the examples shared earlier in the chat. Just make sure you specify which example you want ChatGPT to replicate the structure of. Try this prompt: “I’m going to paste in copy that I wrote for a landing page. Can you reformat this using the same page structure as the [ example page ] you just shared?”
Now you’ve got your own version, optimized and tailored. All that’s left to do is comb through it and make sure ChatGPT didn’t change your messaging or add in incorrect information.
Alright. Moving on…
Shortcut #12: Setup/Fix Backend Logic & Automations
Setting up back-end automations or fixing consumption and delivery logic in your online tools or membership platforms can feel like throwing spaghetti on a wall and hoping something sticks.
But with this shortcut, ChatGPT can help you make sense of it all…
We recently used this to fix the logic inside one of our membership sites – which uses complex tagging and segmenting to ensure our members have access to the correct level of the membership at all times.
Here’s the prompt we used:
- “There are 8 pages that I only want shown to members based on their tags below: [ insert level pages + the corresponding tags/attributes ]. Help me create 8 segments and/or logic to ensure only those with certain tags & attributes have access ONLY to their corresponding pages above.”
I know this is a very specific example, but you can also use this to set up an email funnel, onboarding sequence, or other automated workflows.
- In A New Chat, Describe the Flow You’re Trying to Build
- “I’m building an onboarding sequence for people who sign up for my free mini-course. I want to send 4 emails over 10 days, track everyone who clicks the course link, and send a bonus if they complete all lessons. Can you map out this automation step-by-step, including triggers, conditions, and actions?”
- ChatGPT’s Response:
- You’ll get a step-by-step breakdown of the entire automation including how to tag the user after each action and the next action to be triggered.
This will save you so much when building out new automations with more complex logic or exclusions.
And Here are some BONUS Prompts For Even Better Results
- “Can you convert this into a Zapier logic flow, with app-to-app automations?”
- “Can you write two automation paths – one for beginners, one for advanced users?”
Shortcut #13: Basic Coding & Bug Detection
Basic coding skills are something that is useful for ALL freelancers and small business owners. But let’s be honest, it’s over most of our heads. And hiring a web developer or coder to fix every little issue isn’t realistic either.
Luckily, ChatGPT can help you with basic coding…
- In A New Chat, Describe What You’re Trying to Do or Fix
- Make sure to include context: which platform you are using and what language (HTML/CSS/JS), and your desired result.
- For example… “I want to create a button that scrolls to a section lower on the same page. I’m using basic HTML and CSS. Write the HTML and CSS for a button that says ‘Learn More’ and scrolls smoothly to the #about section of the page.”
- ChatGPT Will Give Something That Looks Like This…

Which you can easily just copy and paste.
You can also use ChatGPT to help you debug your page… just copy and paste your error or broken code into the chat along with this prompt: “This code isn’t working—can you find the issue and fix it?”
Here are some BONUS Prompts For Even Better Results
- “Can you rewrite this to be mobile-responsive?”
- “Add a hover animation to this button.”
- “Turn this code into a reusable code block.”
- “Write code to embed a countdown timer that ends at midnight on Friday.”
Alright, here’s another super useful hack for ChatGPT…
Shortcut #14: Flag Email Copy That Could Hurt Deliverability
You’re writing emails and want to make sure they land in the inbox, not the spam folder…
ChatGPT can scan your copy for any deliverability red flags and help rewrite risky phrases…
- In A New Chat, Paste the Email Copy or Subject Line You’re Worried About
- “I’m going to feed you an email I wrote. Can you analyze this email for phrases that could hurt deliverability or sound spammy? Give me re-write options for anything you flag as spammy – keep it natural and still persuasive.”
- ChatGPT will identify any red flags and rewrite the email for you.
Be careful with this one. ChatGPT can sometimes overdo when re-writing copy – and before you know it, your email doesn’t sound like you at all.
Instead, I would recommend asking ChatGPT to JUST rewrite a specific part of your email that is a red flag for spam. Something like…
- “What are 5 subject lines with high open rates that don’t use spammy language?”
- “Give me 10 different ways to say ‘Click here to save 15%’ without sounding spammy or trigger spam.”
This next one is one of my FAVORITE ways to use ChatGPT…
Shortcut #15: Brainstorm Acronyms, Phrases & Catchy Names
Who doesn’t love a good acronym?!
I have to admit that coming up with fun acronyms, phrases and names is one of my favorite things to do.
I tend to just get out a blank piece of paper and write down anything and everything that comes to mind… until I stumble across SOMETHING that makes sense…
Sometimes though, the juices just aren’t flowing and that’s when ChatGPT can be super helpful!
- In A New Chat, Explain What You’re Naming or Creating:
- Remember to be clear about the topic, tone, and audience.
- Here’s an example… “I’m creating a 5-step framework to help creative freelancers land higher-paying clients. I want a catchy acronym that feels empowering but not cheesy. Give me 10 acronym ideas where each letter represents a step in this process: Positioning, Outreach, Pricing, Pitching, and Closing. Make the tone confident, modern, and slightly edgy.”
- ChatGPT will give you options…
- Then you can work on refining it until you’re happy:
- “Make it sound more fun and aspirational.”
- “Add a bit of sass and playfulness.”
- “What’s a memorable name for a digital product bundle for coaches?”
- “Give me 10 tagline ideas that convey fast results + expert support.”
- “Write a catchy phrase I can use to describe this bonus that makes it feel irresistible.”
- Or “Give me 10 words that start with P and relate to leadership.” (Useful for building custom acronyms like “P.R.O.”, “S.M.A.R.T.”, etc.)
And LAST but not least…
Shortcut #16: Brainstorm Irresistible + Complementary Bonuses
One of the biggest rules in great sales and marketing is to have an irresistible offer.
Adding in bonuses is a great way to increase the VALUE of an offer – making it more irresistible.
The only problem is… sometimes coming up with the RIGHT bonuses isn’t that simple.
ChatGPT can help you come up with relevant, high-perceived-value add-ons that directly support your main product.
- In A New Chat, Describe Your Core Offer Clearly
- Include who it’s for, what problem it solves, and the delivery method.
- “I’m launching a $497 course that teaches designers how to find premium clients on LinkedIn. I need bonus ideas that increase perceived value and help buyers implement faster. Give me 5 strategic bonus ideas for a LinkedIn client attraction course for freelance designers. Bonuses should be easy to deliver, perceived as high-value, and help people get results faster.”
- ChatGPT will give you some ideas…

And here are some BONUS: Additional For Even Better Results
- “Make the bonuses sound more premium.”
- “Which of these bonuses should be fast-action vs. evergreen?”
- “Give me bonus ideas themed around saving time.”
- “Write descriptions for each bonus so they sound irresistible on a sales page.”
You can also use ChatGPT to reverse-engineer a bonus you already have: “Here’s a bonus I already have – can you tell me if it actually supports the main offer and how to improve it?”
PHEW! And that’s that.
You officially have everything you need to make ChatGPT into your productivity secret weapon… Whether you’re building funnels, brainstorming offers, or planning your next big launch.
