I struggle so much with imposter syndrome that sometimes it causes me to forget how valuable my services really are—so watching the Spark trainings where the coaches are so transparent about the insides of their businesses gave me the direction I needed to decide what my offers and even my systems look like!
I think something that goes unspoken as a creative or a copywriter is that community is so important. We have a skill set that not everyone has so sometimes it feels a little lonely or even challenging when you don’t have anywhere to turn to get a second pair of eyes, bounce ideas or ask for advice/direction from someone who has actually been where you are. The community is full of people from around the world who are ready to support you as well!

When I was considering joining Spark, I was nervous... not because I didn't know that it would be amazing (I had already done the Launch Pad and loved it) but because it was a big investment for me at the time, as I was only just getting my business off the ground.
Turns out it was definitely the best decision! Right now, I'm making a steady income as a copywriter and traveling the world (1.5 years traveling now and no plans to stop!) I would recommend Spark to anyone who is looking for structure. If you have a question about your resume, about AI outreach, about how to approach a sales call — it's all in the clubhouse for you. It was hard for me to join Spark. Making that investment in myself was hard, and I was worried. Was this really for me? Would I fit in? My personality is very different from Alex’s. Could an introvert do this? I’ve been writing for years… would this make a difference?
There are no miracles in life, but I can report changes that are both quiet and deep. I feel differently about copywriting and my own copywriting. I’ve updated my portfolio, reached out to clients, and landed new work. The biggest change has been my resilience. As a writer, I’ve always heard the word “no,” but now it’s just a word. I joined Spark 10 months ago, fresh out of Launch Pad Season 5 and not wanting to leave the supportive Posse bubble I had grown to love. After dropping thousands on Launch Pad, I was very nervous about spending more, but it has been the best experience. Even though I had experience freelancing, Spark really gave me direction on where to focus my energy and provided systems to alleviate some “busy work” that wasn’t making me money.
For example, the templates for building packages or drawing up work agreements allowed me to work on client acquisition instead, which is how I landed some brand work I’m excited about and a contract with a brand I LOVE.

When I first joined Spark, I wasn't even officially a copywriter yet. I was just thinking of adding it on as a service to my marketing agency. After being in Spark, I became so obsessed with copywriting that I decided to focus all of my time, energy, and attention on becoming the best copywriter I could be.
It's been almost a year now, and I've had consistent copywriting clients since I started, even though when I joined, I hardly knew anything about copywriting! I would highly recommend joining if you want to grow your business as a copywriter.

My favorite part about being in Spark is all of the different people that you can meet… people from different cultures and areas of the world who are all going for the same goal that you're going for.
It's just great to see that no matter where you are in your life, there are people going through the same exact thing you're going through, and that you can support them and they can support you.
If someone was on the fence about joining Spark, I would just say to just do it and gift that to yourself. It's a gift of kindness that I give myself every month because I want that community, and I'm serious about my copywriting journey.

I joined Spark straight after Launch Pad. Because I learned that I thrive in a live learning environment with the support from others who are in similar boats as me and can relate to what I'm talking about. There's nothing worse than that blank stare from others who just don't get it. I love all of the live calls, the roadmap has been amazingly helpful, and the job board is where I gained 90% of my clients. It's all right here for us.
Honestly, being part of Spark, I haven't felt like this in a long time. From getting clients, regaining my confidence, being recognized as a mentor... I've found that I'm stepping into my own power, taking charge of my life, living by my own rules, and am part of something incredible. I've found where I'm meant to be.
