“When are you going to stop talking about it and actually do it?”
I’ll never forget the moment my friend Mark said that to me. I even remember what I was wearing (a white t-shirt, faded blue jeans and sunglasses).
I was telling him and my other friends about my big dream of starting a YouTube Channel – an idea I had been toying with for months.
I’m sure I all sounded confident in the moment. But the truth was, I was utterly terrified on the inside, and he called me out.
Well, I made good on my word. 7 months later, I finally published my first video.
But truthfully, I almost let my major doubt and imposter syndrome win.
I’m telling you this to remind you that everyone feels fear when doing something new.
Here’s the truth that most marketing bros and “gurus” won’t tell you.
Most beginners don’t fail because they lack skills or because they don’t know the first step.

That’s how I know you’re not “stuck” — you’re scared.
Most beginners fail because they wait to feel “ready,” and they wait forever.
Because ready is not a feeling, it’s a decision.
It’s that split-second moment of courage where you say, “I’m going to do this, even though I’m scared.”
Changing your whole life isn’t easy, and I’m not going to pretend it is.
But if you are serious about learning a new skill, transitioning into a new career, starting a new business, a side hustle, or a YouTube Channel.
You’ve got to have courage before you can feel confident. So stop calling it “stuck”… be scared and do it anyway.
